Daniel
The book of Book of Daniel records the faithfulness of God in the lives of Daniel, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego during their exile in Babylon. Written in a time of foreign captivity and cultural pressure, the book shows how God’s people are called to remain faithful to Him even when living in a world that does not honor Him. Through historical accounts and prophetic visions, Daniel reveals God’s sovereign authority over earthly kingdoms and His unfolding plan for the future. The book also points forward to the coming of Christ, including the prophecy that foretells the arrival of the Messiah, which helps explain the expectation that led the Magi to seek the newborn King. Daniel ultimately reminds believers that God rules over history, keeps His promises, and calls His people to live with courage, faithfulness, and hope.
